The globe has a white equatorial
band with the motto ORDEM E
PROGRESSO (Order and Progress)

traditions much symbolism is
associated with colors. The colors
on the Brazilian flag represent the

Yellow - the Brazilian gold reserves
Green - the Amazon Rainforest, the
